Outer Planets!!!
The outer planets are called the gas giants since they're so big and there is no solid material. Jupiter is the closet planet to the sun out of the Gas Giants. While having a diameter of 142,984 kilometers and the average distance from the sun is 5.20 AU. Jupiter has a period of rotation of 9.9 Earth hours and a period of revolution of 11.9 Earth years. Jupiter has at least 63 moons. Saturn is the second closet planet from the Sun out of the Gas Giants. Saturn has the most spectacular rings of any planet. These rings are made of chunks of ice and rock, each traveling in its own orbit around Saturn. Saturn has a diameter of 120,536 kilometers and an average distance of 9.54 AU to the Sun. Saturn has a period of rotation of 10.7 Earth hours and a period of revolution of 29.5 Earth years. Saturn has at least 61 moons. Uranus is the 3rd closet planet from the Sun out of the Gas Giants. Uranus has a diameter of 51,118 kilometers and an average distance of 19.2 AU to the Sun. Having a period of rotation of 17.2 Earth hours and a period of revolution of 83.8 Earth years. Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun out of the whole Solar System. Neptune has a diameter of 49,528 kilometers and an average distance of 30.07 AU from the Sun. Having a period of rotation of 16.1 Earth hours and a period of revolution of 163.8 Earth years. Neptune has at least 13 moons. Pluto used to be one of our outer planets until scientists considered it as a dwarf planet. A dwarf planet are objects that orbit the Sun and have enough gravity to pull themselves into spheres, but they have other objects in the area of their orbit. Dwarf Planets are smaller than regular planets in our Solar System.
